Post Provides Blue Star Banner to Parents of Deployed Navy Corpsman

James R. Hickey Post #120, is proud to be able to provide a Blue Star Banner to the parents of a recently deployed Navy Corpsman, Noah Dobbins.  Noah was recently deployed to Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, to assist in the humanitarian assistance in combating the Ebola virus.  Noah is there as one who will help train the people of Liberia in the ways to deal with this deadly virus.  Pictured below, Post Commander Ann Guest reads the citation that is part of the ceremony when the Blue Star Banner is provided.  James R. Hickey Post #120 takes great pride in being able to honor our service personnel by supporting their families here at home.  Receiving the Banner is Noah’s mother, Mrs. Emily DeWind and her husband, Derrick DeWind.

Emily and Derrick DeWind received a Blue Star Banner in a ceremony at the James R. Hickey Post.
