Habitat for Humanity Seeking Wayne County Veterans

Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County would like to put a Veteran in one or more of its next builds. Habitat has acquired two new building lots in Newark and are refurbishing a house in Clyde. They will give particular consideration to the special housing needs of disabled veterans.
The homes provided are very affordable due to their use of volunteer labor and the acquisition of much of the materials and land for no cost. Additionally , they finance the homeowners with a mortgage at zero percent interest. Monthly payments are under $500. which includes insurance and property taxes.
If you know of anyone who would be interested in availing themselves of this opportunity please have them call (315)986-9915 or email to obtain additional information and/or an application form. Applications can also be downloaded from their website:
After the homeowners are selected, the homes are built and modified to meet individual needs ( number of bedrooms required, wheel chair access, etc.).
